Seminar Systems
Many marketing organizations continue to offer the same worn out seminar and seminar invitation that they’ve offered for years. Not only do these offerings hit the same old run-of-the-mill concepts that attendees have seen time and time again, they are virtually never updated. This potentially exposes the presenter with liability for providing outdated and obsolete information, as well as a loss of credibility by attendees who recognize the errors! All of CRP’s educational workshops are updated at least annually. Further, we are continually developing and testing new presentations to keep your choices in workshops and workshop invitations, fresh!
CRP workshops are offered respectively only to financial professionals who are properly licensed to discuss the financial topics covered in each workshop.
Successful Retirement Strategies Workshop®
Our flagship Shark Workshop, completely updated in 2007, remains one of the most informative and entertaining workshops ever. Lasting about 85 minutes, it’s a comprehensive review of the Five Financial Sharks facing retirees and pre-retirees today: The Tax Shark, The Investment Shark, The Nursing Home Shark, The Legal Shark and The Procrastination Shark.
Each of the five sharks presents, respectively, relevant and important information such as tax deferral, the estate tax, tax on IRA’s, tax on social security benefits, risk and time, investment fees and expenses, long term care insurance options, wills and trusts, probate, and many other topics.
With strong third party references ranging from IRS publications to articles in popular magazines, retirees understand that there’s more to retirement planning than simply “the highest rate of return” and that the presenter may be able to provide solutions to their questions and concerns.
Licensing Requirements
Available in a version for financial professionals with only an insurance license, and a full version, which may only be offered by those who have at least a Series 65 registration.
Generation Giving I.R.A. Workshop®
Offered only to those financial professionals who have completed David Royer’s “Keys To The IRA Kingdom” training, this workshop focuses heavily on the traps and pitfalls that exist in traditional accumulation planning as it applies to qualified retirement accounts such as IRA’s, 401(k)’s, 403(b)’s and other qualified accounts.
The IRA Workshop points out important issues that most traditional investment brokers are neither aware of nor discuss with their clients such as how to properly name beneficiaries and the importance of the restricted beneficiary form; who the ideal custodian is for qualified accounts; the pitfalls of negative returns coupled with required minimum distributions and many other issues that could have negative and unintended consequences for owners and beneficiaries of qualified accounts.
Licensing Requirements
Available to insurance licensed representatives. Obtaining a Series 65 registration is highly recommended.
